Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting analysis through computer simulations using commercial FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software, CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software, or similar analysis tools.
- Refining simulation models to enhance the accuracy of predictions. This includes activities like improving model inputs (e.g., materials data, machining data), performing grid sensitivity studies, and evaluating the effectiveness of different solvers.
- Collaborating with the broader team to troubleshoot technical challenges during product development.
- Contributing to the enhancement of manufacturing processes.
- Generating new intellectual property (IPs) in your area of expertise, specifically within Singapore.
- Independently planning and managing your work, ensuring timely project delivery.
- Preparing clear technical reports and presenting findings to cross-functional teams.
- Providing overseas process development support for short-term assignments.
Key Qualifications/Requirements:
- Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with FEA software such as ANSYS Mechanical, ANSYS Fluent, ABAQUS, LS-DYNA, or other similar simulation software.
- Preferably at least 2 years of relevant experience in structural analysis, heat transfer, or fluid dynamics simulation.
- Knowledge of product design or manufacturing process development is advantageous.
