Job Summary:
- To support tax advisory, tax projects, and tax accounting for our APAC entities
Job Scope:
- Support the APAC Tax Manager in delivering tax advisory across the APAC region
- Support the execution and coordination of regional tax projects
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on tax-related matters
- Perform tax accounting works, including quarterly and annual tax provisions, return to provision, and reconciliation to One Source
- Provide support for statutory audits, including computation of tax and deferred tax provisions, and preparation of tax disclosure notes
- Respond to information requests for external and internal audits
- Support and address issues related to the preparation of GST, VAT, WHT, and CIT returns
- Perform tax administrative tasks, including preparing/updating tax forecasts and payments, reconciling tax accounts (ARMS), and preparing tax journals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related fi eld
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in direct and indirect tax, with exposure to tax advisory and tax accounting
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle and OneSource
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges
- Good organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks from initiation to completion
- Good communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with cross-functional teams
- Proven problem-solving abilities, with a track record of resolving tax-related issues
- Fluent in both spoken and written
Additional Information:
- Salary - Up to S$10K per month
- Commencement Date: Immediate
- Contract duration: 12-month
- Working days and hours: Mon-Fri / 9am-6pm, 1-day WFH
- Location: CBD, Raffles
