Job scopes
- Ensure Major Transformation Program (MTP) follows the company's Change framework and is suited for purpose, utilizes industry best practice, and aligns with strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, relevant policies, and other frameworks.
- Ensure the other resilience risks - Third Party Risk, Business Continuity Management, Data Risk, Transaction Processing are tracked, managed and governed in accordance with the Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Framework within MTP.
- Coordinate review and challenge on Non-Financial Risk impacts related to material change initiatives in MTP and enable the Insurance businesses to effectively manage NFR.
- Enable Non-Financial Risk Stewards to provide effective oversight of the Insurance NFR position.
- Produce insightful NFR and control reporting to key Insurance Risk and relevant governance forums.
- Coordinate challenge of the Transformation and IT Teams, First Line Control and risk owners to ensure that risk management activities are working effectively.
- Provide subject matter expertise, advice, guidance, and effective challenge to the Transformation, IT, Risk and Control Owners.
- Recommend Risk and Control Assessment scoping, and challenge where this is not appropriately applied in the Risk and Control Assessment.
- Challenge Risk and Control Owners, Chief Control Officers and Risk Stewards on risk and control management, including inherent risk, residual risk, control effectiveness ratings, issues, actions, and events.
- Work with the Business, Transformation, and IT team to understand the impact of emerging risks that require changes to controls, resources, and business operations to ensure they remain within appetite in MTP.
Job requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance or any related discipline
- At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in life insurance industry
- Experience in transformation project
- Good knowledge in insurance and end-to-end process
- Good business acumen and communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- A positive, enthusiastic, committed and 'can do' attitude team player.
