Job duties:
Performing field repair and overhaul of heavy equipment (Excavator, etc) on site
Ensuring all tools are well prepared and available on service vehicle
Responsible for diagnosing problems, use testing & diagnostic equipment, disassembly/assembly, repair of the equipment, estimating repair costs and minimizing re-work
Maintain proper job documentation; working records for time, parts, supplies and outside purchase in repairs and ensure all the records kept are eligible or in compliance with established methods
Completes repairs within performance standards guidelines as set by the dealer: repair time, quality of repairs / amount of rework, quantity of repairs / labor efficiency and other measures
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report all accidents to a manager or supervisor
Job requirements:
ITE/Diploma in mechanical or equivalent
0 to 3 years experiences in repair and overhaul of heavy equipment (Excavator, etc) and its components
Ability to read and understand instructions and technical literature
Class 3 license is a preference
Service van would be provided for purpose of visiting sites
