Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain key components of the SharePoint suite using modern SharePoint Framework such as TypeScript/ReactJS.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint-based workflows dashboards via custom webparts or PowerBI.
  • Integrate SharePoint Online applications with internal systems using APIs such as REST API and other 3rd party applications.
  • Ensure code and designs are in compliance with company policies, follow specifications, coding best practices, prepare and produce releases of reusable software codes, libraries and components.
  • Liase with internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality sites meeting requirements and needs.
  • Actively participate in design reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment.
  • Work closely with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation
  • Perform maintenance activities such as ensuring ongoing performance and capacity of sites.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, related fields or combination of equivalent practical experience and education
  • Minimum 2 or more years of experience in development, support and administration of SharePoint applications.
  • Working SharePoint experience in at least the following:
    • Designer and Power Automate workflows
    • SharePoint REST API
    • SharePoint Framework
  • Working experience in SharePoint OOTB Components and its administration and maintenance.
  • Working experience in ReactJS, Typescript, and C# is good to have.
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Good to have working experience with code versioning tools, such as Git and Bitbucket
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas and concepts to non-technical individuals.
  • Possess good problem-solving skill and can adapt to changes in business requirements.
  • Effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast paced, global environment.
  • Good to have experience working in Agile teams using JIRA tool.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to learn new skills, existing and emerging technologies
