My client is a leading trading powerhouse with presence in over 80 countries and employs more than 70,000 employees world-wide. They are currently on the search for a Shipping Finance Executive (6-months contract) to be based in their Singapore office.
Job Responsibilities
* Active contribution in the monthly Trading and Shipping reporting
* Support with data gathering and dashboards, update and maintain the laytime report for the Operations department.
* Support APAC Trading and the Shipping Controller in financial closing, such as analyzing trade performance, ensuring margin is properly accounted for, reviewing inter-company recharge.
* Support in the reconciliation process.
* Ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

Job Responsibilities
* Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent.
* Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience within the Shipping/Trading industries.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Knowledge of SAP and BI tools will be highly advantageous.
* Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience within the Shipping/Trading industries.

* Experience in forecasting, FP&A or business controlling would be a plus.
