• Establish and maintain Reference Architectures (Digital, Microservice etc.)
• Establish Technology standards, design patterns, languages and frameworks
• Work with the CTB organization to participate in "Solutioning" of projects that involve changes to Digital and non-Digital applications
• Provide oversight on the detailed design by the Build squads
• Provide technical guidance, support, and coaching to the Build Squad
• Provide guidance for Application security
• Recognize any technical debt, evaluate the debt, and advise Tech Lead/Product Owner on impact of the debt to enable deciding whether to accept or not
• Identify document and mitigate technical risks

• Ensure architectural principles and leading practices are adhered to
• Cross collaborate with Architecture COE on any technical issues faced by the Build Squad. Communicate any new guidance from the Architecture Guild to the Build Squad.
• Share information (i.e. cross-pollinate) across squads as well as with other architects in the Architecture Guild
• Represent the Digital Garage in the EA Governance meetings (along with the Tech lead) for cases, which require approval form Group EA team
  
  Target Deliverable
  1. Review report for the microservices which are being designed and built.
  
  2. Provide the reference design for:

• template design for common microservices across multi locations.
• federated SSO between INB, BV and MS
• batch jobs / ETL jobs to process with MS
• bulk processing (for e.g. corp customer uploading bulk payment file)
• scheduler activities
  
  3. Design deliverables for microservices together with the solution BA for specific squads. Few microservices may be:
• Customer security
• Customer Notifications
• Funds Transfers
• QR Payment
• Marketing promo etc
  
  Skills and Qualifications:
  
• Advanced working knowledge in Application Security
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with two or more programming languages such as .Net, Java, Python, C ++, go with the respect to designing, coding, testing and deployment (Working knowledge with Spring Boot is a plus)
• Advanced working knowledge in different infrastructure/cloud components such as networking, orchestration tools, container, database etc. (Expereince with OpenShift Container Platform is a plus)
• Exposure to DevOps Tools and Integration such as Jira, Jenkins, Confluence, Coverity, Black Duck and Junit/XUnit
• Experience with Configuration Management Tools such as Ansible
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and proficient in service-level changes
