Responsibilities:

  • Lead and document user requirement gathering for system development, ensuring that the end-to-end processes are adequately and accurately documented.
  • Work with the architects and technical teams to design solutions that meet the project scope and support the expected business outcome.
  • Review and ensure that operational processes are aligned with key stakeholders and meet the relevant governance and control standards.
  • Work with the key stakeholders to create test scenarios and test plan
  • Plan and conduct system testing, results verification prior and after releasing the systems to the business users for production releases.
  • Liaise with cross-functional or regional representatives to support smooth running of the projects. Escalate challenges and risks to the Scrum Master.
  • Facilitate the communication between IT and business users to ensure all have a clear and complete understanding of the solutions.
  • Prepare training documentation for new systems for distributors/customer training, where applicable.
  • Support any other ad-hoc department tasks as assigned by the Head of Life Product Implementation.


Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Technology or any relevant field
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the insurance industry is a plus with good understanding of insurance processes.
  • At least 7 years of related experience, working in similar capacity as business analyst and testing experience.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills along with being organized, structured & methodological, assertive characteristics are required.
  • Ability to map and review an end-to-end process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and report writing ability.
  • Interpersonal skills and proven organizational negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Confidence to lead critical projects, conduct workshops and presentations with management and other stakeholders as lead business analysis.
  • Ability to work well in large teams and provide deliveries with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of agile ways of working is a plus.
