Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and leading sourcing and procurement strategy for Asia Pacific region
- Identify potential suppliers and conduct negotiations on project buyout and service costs
- Develop global channels of supply chain at the lowest total buyout and service costs through the establishment of frame agreements with strategic suppliers
- Lead best price and terms negotiation/ service agreement
- Develop benchmarks and scorecards to be used for continuous improvement and conduct audits on vendors performance and quality
- Working with Engineering team to develop potential suppliers as outsourced manufacturers
Requirements
- Min 8 - 10 years of strategic sourcing, procurement and supply chain management experience
- A proven track record of delivering large savings for the organisation
- Experience in negotiating and managing frame agreements with strategic suppliers
- In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices
- Familiarity with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
- A good working understanding of components and equipment to be sourced (valves, transmitters, pressure and temperature gauges, etc.)
