Job scope
Compliance Activities Management

  • Responsible for ensuring that the applications are compliant to Government and other ICT policies
  • Review system designs and technical specifications to ensure all requirements are captured to meet compliance or other requirements
  • Plan, execute and support system implementation, software/hardware upgrades and security patches
  • Manage the verification of software patches and upgrades for applications
  • Track, monitor and continuously enhance the IT services to ensure compliance
  • Manage change requests and service requests



Team Collaboration

  • Work with the respective System Owners to enhance the various applications to meet compliance and security requirements.
  • Manage outsourced vendors and in-housed contractors to implement the required changes.



Job requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in application production support on Java and .NET applications in both Unix and Windows operating environments
  • Good knowledge of the Government Instruction Manuals with regard to ICT
  • Excellent technical skills (e.g system design/development and cybersecurity)
  • Sound understanding of the technical aspects of systems integration in an environment with diverse technology
  • Knowledge of web languages (e.g HTML/CSS, JavaScript);
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g Oracle, Microsoft SQL) and application servers (e.g IIS, WebSphere Application Server)
  • Understand SDLC and experience working with business users, various IT teams and vendors
  • Positive attitude and able to work under pressure
  • Self-driven, creative and team-oriented person with good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders when required
  • Possess good information acquisition, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good organization skills and able to work with minimal supervision in a rapidly changing environment
