Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and maintain release management processes, quality gates and deliverables
  • Review and ensure completeness of release artifacts
  • Publish regular release status to all participants and maintain/publish release calendar
  • Work with various technical/functional teams to ensure proper delivery
  • Manage and execute change requests with creation, approval, and closure of the same
  • Monitor and control all release related activities
  • Maintain lessons learnt, release post mortem outcomes and convert them into best practices
  • Manage and identify risks that may affect release scope, release duration and environment(s)
  • Automation approach or suggest automation as and when applicable
  • Be in the forefront of communications and having good relationship with any stakeholder involved.

Qualifications and Profile
Mandatory Skills:

  • Degree in IT or equivalent work experience,
  • Having at least 3 years of expertise in Technical Release Management
  • Well experienced and have good understanding of SQL language, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
  • Having experience with JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube and other deployment tools
  • Must have exposure to DevOps and DevOps tools
  • Good understanding of ITIL concepts

Nice to have:

  • Experience in working with application monitoring and automation
  • Experience in Banking environment, especially in Capital Market IT
  • Knowledge on Cloud deployment, preferably AWS
