Job Description
- Lead and manage regional customer relationships and alternative sales channels within designated countries, working alongside another Sales Manager.
- Drive new business development by understanding product applications and providing support to customers, agencies, and distributors. This will be done in close collaboration with the regional competence center in Bangkok, Thailand, and the Innovation Centre in Germany. The role covers both Food and Non-Food customer segments.
- Contribute to capacity allocation and product sales based on availability, market demand, and profitability.
- Identify opportunities to optimize internal processes and structures, and support the ongoing development of customer and channel strategies.
- Maintain an up-to-date rolling sales forecast and provide market intelligence, including insights on competitors, product trends, pricing, and market developments. Ensure accurate customer reporting within the CRM system.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in international B2B sales or application support, ideally within the Food or Industrial sectors.
- University degree in Food Science or Organic Chemical Technology.
- Technical experience with starch applications is highly desirable.
- Background in technical marketing or sales is a plus.
