Role details
The Technology Delivery Manager will work with the Digital & Distribution work stream within the technology value stream and is accountable for the delivering technology plan for the work stream. The Technology Delivery Manager is accountable for producing and managing the sprint plan, progress tracking and reporting, budget tracking and reporting.
Job Description
Insurance and/ or Financial Services Industry experience a must
Graduate or postgraduate degree in Science, Business Administration, Social Sciences in psychology, economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
A project manager certification (PMP, Prince II) is required
Demonstrable experience as a technology delivery manager with good agile delivery experience with knowledge of waterfall methodologies
Previous experience with large scale technology migration and integration is good to have.
A good understanding of insurance product manufacturing and distribution processes and technology from end-to-end
Able to assess process and system use and focus on KPIs to track progress and manage changes, e.g., Confluence, and Jira
Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal/external stakeholders e.g., Product Owner.
Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and changing priorities.
Ability to bring analytical rigour, structure, and effective solutions to poorly defined problems
interpersonal, influencing, persuading and communication skills - applicable through multiple channels (written, spoken, workshops, presentations)
Good team leader and player, able to lead others into action
Good communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
