SINGAPORE (24 JUNE 2025) – ManpowerGroup today released its Global Talent Barometer 2025, Volume 1, a robust new tool offering unparalleled insights into workforce sentiment across 19 countries.
The overall Global Talent Barometer score in Singapore of 64% was derived from three key indices: Well-Being (63%), Job Satisfaction (55%), and Confidence (74%). The report, which gathered data from 507 workers in Singapore between March 14 and April 11, 2025, reveals a complex landscape of employee well-being, job satisfaction, and confidence in the rapidly evolving world of work.
In Singapore, employees continue to find their work meaningful and purposeful, feel more aligned with their organization’s values, and are more confident compared to 2024. However, they also report experiencing higher daily stress and lower job satisfaction, with the younger generations—Gen Z and Millennials—feeling the most stressed and dissatisfied.
Gen Z continues to experience the highest levels of daily stress, while Millennials report the sharpest decline in job satisfaction, despite both generations noting increased support for work-life balance.
“Our data shows that people continue to expect work to offer them more—more flexibility, more balance, and more opportunities to grow,” comments Ms. Linda Teo, Country Manager of ManpowerGroup Singapore. “Even so, one in four Singaporean workers feel they don't have enough opportunities to achieve their career goals at their current employer. This highlights the importance of continuous skill development—not just to build capability, but to show organizational commitment to people’s futures.”

Now is the time to listen, engage, and act. These insights help us better understand what matters most to workers in Singapore—and how we can build a more sustainable, human-centered world of work," Ms. Teo says.
