LMS Consultant

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Migration from the current learning management system (LMS) to the new LMS.
  • Participate in the new LMS project meetings and trainings.
  • Work with the CDD project leader to set up the user organisations, user roles, dealer subsites, learning paths, etc. for the new LMS.
  • Carry out all the necessary communications and trainings on the new LMS for all Region Asia users as well as dealer LMS administrator and users.
  • Work with dealer LMS administrators and provide the necessary administrative support (including but not restricted to the following):
    • confirm the dealer organisation groupings and LMS dealer sites
    • Assign user roles
    • New user registration / user deletion
    • Update user details
    • Assign relevant learning paths / courses to users
    • Monitor and drive the completion of assigned learning paths / training courses / training assessments by users
    • Maintain and generate reports from the system for management reporting
    • Support users who have software-related questions or issues in the LMS
    • Participate and assist in LMS related projects (eg. system upgrades, system testing, etc.)
  • Maintain and provide ongoing support for the LMS
    • Resolve identified LMS issues independently or by escalating to partners / vendors as needed
    • Upload, manage, and organize training content created in-house to the LMS
    • Assist with development and oversight of content repositories
    • Assist in managing localized versions of content to support delivery in multiple languages
    • Assist in ensuring compliance with document control policies and requirements
    • Assist local content producers in troubleshooting and reprocessing e-learning courses or assessments
    • Oversee curricula, catalogs, and assignment profiles master data and online content processes
    • Prepare status reports on system usage, compliance, and task completion
    • Routinely audit the learner experience to identify improvement opportunities
    • Collaborate with dealers and provide feedback to fine-tune the online training strategy
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Senior Manager, Competence Development.

  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others
  • Solid decision-making skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability and willingness to work independently, with limited supervision
  • Skilled at communicating technical information in terms understandable to non-technical end-users
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experienced at training others to use specialized software
