Job Responsibilities:

• Plans, directs or coordinates quality assurance programs and formulate quality control policies.
• Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
• Devising and reviewing specifications for projects, products or processes.
• Setting requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitoring their compliance.
• Responsible for preparing the project inspection and test plan according to customer Project Specifications.
• Reviews project quality control procedures from supplier/fabricator, then submit to customer to obtain approval before project fabrication.
• Responsible for conducting incoming inspection for all free issues to fabricator/integrator and customer supplied items.
• Reviews, identifies and closes out punch points or outstanding work list if any.
• Provides guidance in supplier evaluation and performance.
• Participates in QHSE activities.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with minimum 5 to 10 years' experience in Oil & Gas, industry with at least 7 years in a Quality Control Function.
• In-depth knowledge of ASME
• Basic knowledge of instrument installation requirements.
• Ability to plan and organize; action-oriented personality to continuous improvement.
• Good communication skills and ability to communicate and relate with peers, sub-contractors and vendors.
• Quality Problem Solving skills is desired with root cause analysis, problem solving and reporting.
• Tactful, initiative and result driven.
• Willing and capable to travel local and overseas.
• Physically capable for inspection jobs in fabrication shops.
• Strong knowledge of quality principles and practices
