The Treasury Officer is a hands-on role for daily treasury operations with close involvement in the roll-out of the Group's treasury management system in the APAC region and the global treasury process alignment.
This role is typically a multi-tasking role directly linked to advance Treasury operations, where you will be responsible for the completeness and accuracy of all treasury data, analysis and prepare reporting to the management.
This role requires good communication skills, written and oral, to be able to address all aspects, directly or indirectly linked to the duties, with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to banks, treasury peers and other colleagues located around the globe.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily cash balances and assist in cash flow projections to ensure sufficient funds to meet ongoing operation requirements.
  • Assist in cash management execution to meet liquidity needs for APAC region.
  • Responsible to process and execute payments as per Group guideline and cut-off time of all banks.
  • Execute FX fixing and monitor FX hedging settlement for various currencies.
  • Ensure accurate recording and timely payment of principal and interest payment.
  • Responsible in banking account management which involves in bank account opening and closure, evaluating bank account access against bank mandate or, establishing connectivity on both SWIFT and E-banking platform.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external and internal stakeholders for treasury operational and banking related matters/issues.
  • Actively engage in digitalization, innovation and simplification initiatives/projects to further automation and enhance efficiency within treasury operation and across functional teams and offices.
  • Facilitate in KYC review with various banks to facilitate new bank onboarding, ongoing periodical review and funding requirement exercise.
  • Support other ad hoc reporting and requirement.
  • Assist in specific projects and perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager.



Job Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in relevant fields such as Business, Finance, Accounting, Audit, or Economics
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in treasury operations.
  • Experience in commodity business is a plus.
  • Familiarity with banking procedures, payment processing, and cash management is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with latest industry best-practices treasury processes, including, but not limited to, bank account management, payments, cash management, FX, loans & deposits.
  • Experience in working with a leading treasury management system or treasury suite of a leading ERP.
  • Proficiency in treasury software, Power BI, MS Office suite (especially Excel).
  • Good attention to detail, organizational and time management skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrate the understanding of control mindset and solution oriented.
  • Be pro-active, able to work independently and demonstrate the character of team player to to communicate, coordinate and assume responsibility functional teams and external parties.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
